Great but not for the purist
What did you like most about Better Off Dead?
A thrilling, fast paced yarn.
What other book might you compare Better Off Dead to, and why?
Identical concept to Mark Dawson’s John Milton series. A magnetic concept done well.
Which scene did you most enjoy?
Thorough research results in excellent detail. The larger-than-life characters are plausible in a fictional context.
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Nothing. The character accents are good; tonal nuances well placed and performed.
Any additional comments?
This a book, indeed the entire Tom Wood series, is top schoolboy adventure stuff but it isn’t for purists who can’t live with the fictional license of being beyond reasonable possibility. This is pure fiction where anything goes- and is allowed to.
