Dan Abnett and Toby Longworth….master stroke

I would listen to Toby Longworth read the back of a cereal packet, but put in front of one of the most finely written and gripping Warhammer 40k novels by Dan Abnett, then you’ll have me glued to my device for the duration. An absolute master class in both the detective and sci-fi genre. This first book introduces a host of deep and multifaceted characters that you cant help but want to get to know and get invested it. A great book and a great performance.

    Excellent Author and Narrator

I only wish they’d ramp up the budget, add a second narrator (female) to do the women’s voices, then add SFX like a radio drama. But for a standard audio book, this one does very well. The female impersonation isn’t terrible.
