what the hell happened ?
once upon a time Matthew Reilly wrote a credible fun adventure story . I was a huge fan. Now JWJr is involved in the most ridiculous stories ever written. His books stated off well and have become progressively so far away from the original book. If he wants to write science fiction pick another character. Unbelievably disappointing and unimaginative. You’ve ruined a great character Mathew Reilly

3rd and final book for me
I know there is one more book to come in the series, but I’m just too frustrated to go on. It just gets too much when every situation Jack and his team find themselves in is an impossible one that is always immediately made more impossible. I started with the 4 legendary Kingdoms which was stressful enough. There is such a thing as over Catastrophizing and drawing out the story too long that people give up on finding out what the conclusion is.
