Publisher's Summary

“Madison Kate Danvers was murdered tonight.”

Those words changed my life, and not for the better.

They were wrong, of course. I wasn’t dead. But I was set up.

After being charged with a string of offences - and made an example of by my political-minded father - I’m eventually released back into Shadow Grove with one thing on my mind.

Hate.

Someone is going to pay for derailing my carefully laid-out future. Someone is going to catch the full force of my hate. How very convenient that someone just moved into the bedroom down the hall from me.

Archer D’Ath and his boys messed with the wrong chick, and they’re about to learn just how cold Madison Kate’s hate can run.

Hate is a full-length mature college/new-adult romance with enemies-to-lovers/love-hate themes. This is a reverse-harem novel, meaning the main character has more than one love interest.

    Not for me

How many times do you need to hear a characters name…. a lot less than how many times its spoken in this. It seems every sentence included the female characters name…. we get it shes called Madison Kate. Would make a good drinking game but you’d probably get alcohol poisoning.

I did not find any of the characters likeable. The set up of Madison was weak, the revenge plan was weak, all it added up to is juvenile pranks. Madison is just a brat whinging instead of trying to get to the bottom of things & get her life back. The males were not attractive at all. I know this is a enemies to lovers. But no matter how good looking a guy is, a douche is a douche is a douche. There was nothing they did to / for Madison to redeem them.

This is a popular enemies to loves book in the indie community so wanted to hear what the fuss was all about. But there was not much plot development or chemistry with the characters. Disappointed didn’t get what all the fuss is about.
